Coating
with luster: Luster is an organometallic compound. Luster is applied to
the substrate by painting, spraying or dipping. After loading, the
luster is fired at temperatures of 500 - 650 ° C. Firing temperature
depends on the kind of luster. Colour luster usually fired at lower
temperatures (500-570 ° C), "metallic" luster (gold, platinum, bronze)
require higher firing temperature (570-650 ° C). When firing leads to
burning of organic components luster; metal component is oxidized with
atmospheric oxygen on the respective metal oxide. After firing the
substrate remains on the surface of the metal oxide thin film whose
adhesion to the substrate, the color and overall looks can be affected
by the chemical composition of the substrate.
